The Shoup Glacier Day Tour provides an intimate experience in one of Alaska's stunning marine state parks. Begin your adventure by boarding our motorboat for a water taxi ride to Shoup Bay, where the scenic journey begins. Throughout the day, we will paddle through a fjord shaped by a retreating glacier, past a nesting colony of black-legged kittiwakes, along a lush coastline adorned with waterfalls, and towards the face of the glacier. You'll have the opportunity to take a short walk on the beach and enjoy lunch with a breathtaking view of the glacier. At the end of our paddle, the motorboat will pick us up for the return ride to Valdez.
